What we're looking for
MOJO is looking for an incredibly creative visionary to join our team. This role has title flexibility depending on the candidate’s background. This leader will oversee the creation of an incredibly ambitious project at MOJO that seamlessly connects the virtual world to the real-life athletic pursuits of millions of youth athletes around the world. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience in establishing and guiding creative leadership teams from initial concept to release.
Over the last 2 years, MOJO has forged partnerships with the largest youth and professional sports organizations in the world including the NBA, MLB, NFL Flag, FC Barcelona, and many more (including a few more that can’t be announced yet). This role represents a massive creative undertaking, that if and when successful, will change the way that every kid thinks about playing sports in the real world (and certainly cause them to play a lot more).
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a passion for storytelling and ideally, youth sports. This may be as a player, parent, volunteer, or fan.
- Communicate and work with other designers and engineers on the product team to problem solve and design entire product features from idea to final UI design.
- Create conceptual wireframes, user flows diagrams and low-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts for discussion and testing purposes.
- Conduct user research to understand user pain points and frustrations to design a more intuitive platform and experience.
- Produce finished design specifications with detailed requirements and use cases for the final interface.
- Work with our partners like the NBA, MLB, NFL Flag, FC Barcelona to showcase their brands and stories in this new world.

Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of relevant work experience (required), and 4+ years of senior-level experience working on a product team
- Experience with designing and/or leading entire product feature from start to finish
- Strong UX/UI background with a demonstrated ability to create intuitive interfaces that surprise and delight customers
- Excellent individual design skills and strong communication
- Strong familiarity with Figma is highly preferred
- Living in or willingness to relocate to Los Angeles is highly preferred
- Likes sports is a really nice to have
