Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with some combination of backend/APIs and frontend technology
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices and principles, especially relating to mobile products
• Experience with popular frontend frameworks (React, Gatsby, or similar) and running websites in production (grunt, webpack, and similar)
• Database experience (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Designing solutions with scalability, availability, reliability, stability, security, and performance in mind
• Working closely with product, design, and other engineers to produce efficient and effective code/product features
• Proactive communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment — you must be able to communicate your plans, thoughts, and rationale while considering and evaluating feedback from teammates.
• Evangelizing new ideas and technologies
• An enthusiasm for learning and pursuing opportunities to develop existing and new skills
